Jeremih - All The Time (FKI)

Artist: Jeremih
Featuring: Lil Wayne
Producer: FKi
Album: Thumpy Johnson
Label: Def Jam/IDJMG

Jeremih likes his Birthday Sex, but the Windy City R&B hitmaker doesn’t need a special occasion to get it in. In fact, if the Def Jam signee didn’t have a musical career to attend to, he and his girl would be going at it on a pretty much constant basis. Fresh off his guest turn on Game‘s All That (Lady) (currently sitting at #1 on the Booth’s Top Hip Hop and R&B Chart), the singer returns to emphasize the voracity of his sexual appetite on All the Time, a cut off 2012’s Late Nights tape newly-updated with a couple fresh features. Joining the headliner over FKi‘s sultry keyboard grooves, YMCMBheavyweight Lil Wayne indulges his taste for freaky wordplay on the middle verse, and Natasha Mosley contributes her studio-tweaked vocals to the chorus. Fans will be able to find this expanded version of All the Time, along with many more top-shelf bedroom burners, on the headliner’s Thumpy Johnson street album, scheduled for release in April.

Joe Budden - NBA (Never Broke Again)

Artist: Joe Budden
Featuring: Wiz Khalifa , French Montana
Producer: Boi-1da and Vinylz
Album: No Love Lost
Label: French Montana, Joe Budden, Wiz Khalifa

Wiz Khalifa and French Montana may each be at a different stage in his career, but they’ve got one thing in common: having made it thus far in the game, they’re Never goin’ Broke Again. The official follow-up to hit She Don’t Put It Down Like You (the official remix of which dropped earlier this month), NBAsees the Slaughterhouse emcee and his guest collaborators celebrating their permanent baller status over a stark, whip-ready beat by Boi-1da and Vinylz. So readers, is NBA a worthy follow-up to Budden’s ultra-successful lead single? You’ll be able to find both cuts and plenty more where they came from on Budden’s No Love Lost LP, due out February 5, via eOne.

Tyga - Dope

Artist: Tyga
Featuring: Rick Ross
Producer: FKi
Album: Hotel California
Label: Tyga, Rick Ross

Dr. Dre‘s 1992 debut solo single, Deep Cover, found a West Coast up-and-comer by the name of Snoop Doggy Dogg strapping up to commit “187 on an undercover cop.” Two decades and change later, Tyga resurrects the catch phrase, with a twist, on the lead single off his junior studio album. (No comment on whether this release is meant to bolster his street credibility after being, ahem, busted earlier this month.) Booth-approved beat crew FKi elect not to tamper too much with greatness on the production tip, accenting the aforementioned joint’s iconic bassline with a club-friendlier rhythm section. While Tyga and guest Rick Ross’ rhymes here are more swagger than gangster, they make sure to pepper their bars with plenty of references to the West Coast classics. Has the Compton representer done his G-Funk forebears proud? I’ll let y’all lay down the final verdict. Either way, we’ll keep you supplied with the latest jams leading up to the March release of Hotel California via YMCMB and Universal Republic.
